My name is Zahra and I've resumed my long lost passion for painting and creating art. It all started when I was only 16 years old, as I attended an oil-painting class in Tehran/Iran. Now after many years I made the choice to turn to my passion. The dissatisfaction of my former profession and my health condition helped me to turn over a new leaf in my life. I've rediscovered how much I love painting and I'm inspired by the old masters, especially portraits in oil.
I'm currently amazed by the unique and tempting looks of female figures. Combined with captivating nature scenes, I love to create something to which I can deeply connect to. This evokes profound emotions in me, which we all may have faced in our life. While painting I feel calm and free from all the pain and sorrow. And with every consummated piece I feel even stronger than before, which again encourages me to find the next inspiring motif to paint.
